I’ve served on 25 international juries for Cup of Excellence, Rainforest Alliance, and Best of Hawaii, honing my ability to spot brilliance (and reject mediocrity) in every roast. My deep experience buying, roasting, and blending coffees ensures consistent quality, exciting single origins, and blends customers return for, season after season.

 

 

I’ve developed smart green buying strategies to balance inventory and cashflow while maintaining strong producer relationships. I keep roasters humming, too—two decades of repair and maintenance experience means minimal downtime and maximum flavor. Having mentored more than a dozen roasters who now lead their own shops, I take pride in growing the next generation of coffee pros. Ultimately, I create flavor experiences and customer connections that turn great coffee into lasting loyalty.
